Should I use Lightroom?

There are several photo-editing softwares out there, but my personal favourite is Lightroom. On today's post, I will be talking about why I use Lightroom and how far its capabilities go.
What draws me to Lightroom is that it allows you to edit your pictures with its very user friendly surface that is quite easy to operate, as it is a lot less complicated than Photoshop. But it still gets the job done.
Below is an example of a picture of an edit I did on Lightroom. As can be seen I add the brightness, exposure, contrast and saturation among other things. And Lightroom has this built in function where it lets you see the before and after of you shots.

Most of the editing is done using the side bar. Below can be seen a screenshot of it. Thats where most of the picture alteration is done. For example, the following alterations were done to the picture above:
Shadows to +26
Blacks to -15
Clarity to +20
