What is the deal with Instagram?

Instagram is one of the most used social media platform of our time. It is currently owned by Facebook and has million of users form all over the world. What makes Instagram different from other social media platforms is that it is a photo based, making it attractive for photographers wanting to share their work online.

I for one started sharing my pictures on instagram because I could i found it to be quite easy to use and has one of the biggest users. The idea that my pictures can reach anyone from anywhere around the world really made me gravitate towards Instagram.

What a lot of people might not know is that Instagram has a photographers community unlike any other. I for one have met several Photographers from different parts of the world. And it is truly a great experience to share and exchange ideas and thoughts on several different topics.

One of the most amazing thing about Instagram is the fact that you are able to find inspiration for your own work. I personally have a hand full of Instagram Photographers that I use for inspiration when I need it. And having that present on your home board everyday makes it even more easier.

If you you already have a personal account and thing that maintaining both might be hard, you have it wrong. Instagram has this great feature where it allows you seamlessly switch from one account to another with just a click of a button, without the need of any further input.
